Welcome to yet another episode of Candid Convos! The space where we discuss all virtual staffing in the new remote economy with either a business owner or lawyer who employs virtual staff. This time around, our featured guest is Adi Klevit. Adi Klevit is the founder and CEO of Business Success Consulting Group. BSCG provides business owners, entrepreneurs, and key executives with strategic implementation, process improvement, and long-lasting systems necessary to support business expansion. Adi is also the host of the Systems Simplified Podcast. A platform that features entrepreneurs, founders, and top leaders who share stories on how to successfully systematize businesses.
Joe starts by asking Adi how she helps entrepreneurs simplify their companies. With decades of experience, she brings order into confusion. The order is in terms of systems, processes and procedures, management infrastructure, and more. Adi, and her team, work with businesses that are scaling, they come in and build an infrastructure so they can grow and build faster.
Onboarding An Assistant
Joe and Adi agreed that having an assistant, or a virtual assistant, is vital in the process of growing a business. Every executive who is on the journey of expanding must have an administrative assistant to delegate all non-income-related tasks. Adi adds that there are so many things that an assistant can do, but we tend to hold onto unnecessary things. We need to learn to delegate tasks in order to be more productive. At some point, we need to take a proactive approach and stop the hamster wheel. Her advice is to treat yourself as the most important client and find the time to plan your processes in order to be successful at everything you do.
Training and onboarding a new member is not easy, but it is doable, and once you have the system in place on how to do it, all future new members will rip the benefits. The importance of onboarding is directly related to the efficiency of the new member. Your rage on expansion really depends on having great systems to onboard and train new employees. Furthermore, it tells a lot about your culture and allows your new employees to feel like they are welcome in the business.
Lastly, once you start hiring virtual assistance from Get Staffed Up you get to access the top talent internationally and you are not restricted by a geographical zone. Listen to the Candid Convo for some great delegation tips from Adi.
