In this episode, Ryan and Carlos, the host, discuss the role of a virtual legal assistant within his law firm. During the pandemic, Ryan started looking for professional talent globally. He was looking for a professional and bilingual assistant, who could communicate clearly with firm members, as well as some Spanish speaker clients. Thus, GetStaffedUp paired him with Astrid. She is a professional based in Mexico, who is bilingual and who has excelled at her position as a virtual admin assistant.
Role of a Virtual Admin Assistant
Ryan shares with Carlos how Astrid has added tremendous value to him and the firm. There are always tasks that the firm’s paralegals may struggle with so she assists them to get it done. She’s also very good with excel, and she is able to get results in the background.
Lastly, Carlos wanted to find out more about how having a diligent virtual legal assistant has given Ryan more time. To which Ryan responded, that he can find more work in his free time. I am able to build a relationship with clients, coach my team and help them and the firm grow
