This time, our featured guest is Douglas Rohan. An attorney, and founder of Rohan Law PC, based in Atlanta, Georgia. At Rohan Law, PC they focus on personal injury and wrongful death, criminal cases, traffic tickets, DUI, and worker’s compensation claims.
In this episode, Douglas and Alina discuss the positive impact a virtual assistant has had on his law firm. At Rohan Law, they were looking for a professional and bilingual assistant, who could communicate clearly with firm members, as well as their clients, who are mostly Spanish speakers. Thus, GetStaffedUp paired them with Frida. She is a professional based in Mexico City, who is bilingual and who has excelled at her position as a virtual assistant.
Delegating daily tasks
Furthermore, Douglas describes some of Frida’s daily tasks. These range from new cases to the administrative side of cases. Some of her tasks include back-office communication, filling entry of appearance with the court, and notifying that Rohan Law represents the clients. In addition, she adds court day in the internal calendar and makes sure there are no conflicts with existing court bookings.
Douglas happily shared with Alina that his virtual assistant is very proactive and detailed oriented. As a result, her role has expanded within the firm. Some of her extended tasks include handling referrals, sales, and customer service.
