In 2018, Brett and his business partner launched Get Staffed Up. An offshore staffing company that focuses on administrative-level virtual assistants. As a differentiator, the virtual assistants are mainly from Latin America. These virtual assistants are full-time people placed at your law firm. Get Staffed Up does insourcing; they find and place amazing people to be full-time team members. The technology behind having a virtual assistant is straightforward and cost-effective. A personal assistant could answer personal phone calls from Mexico with no problems at all by using VOIP.
The issue many firm owners are facing right now, according to Brett and Alay, is that it is impossible to find an excellent entry-level employee for $10 per hour in the United States. This is why hiring offshore is a brilliant way of hiring. Alay agrees that to grow a reputable law firm; lawyers must spend money on profit centers. Therefore, by saving costs on your administrative employees, you can invest in local paralegals and attorneys. As a result, the business and profit will grow.
