The Lawman’s Lounge Podcast

Podcast

The Lawman's Lounge Podcast featuring Get Staffed Up's Co-Founder and CEO Brett Trembly.

On April 27, 2021, Brett Trembly, the co-founder of Get Staffed Up, was featured on The Lawman’s Lounge Podcast. Hosted by Bill “The Lawman” Umansky of the Umansky Law Firm. The Lawman’s Lounge is an influential podcast dedicated to helping busy attorneys regain control of their lives and businesses. It is the place to learn and get advice as a lawyer, entrepreneur, and business owner. And to be inspired by stories from those who made it through tough times to end up on top.

In this episode, Bill and Brett discuss how to start a business remotely, along with the importance of leveraging the global economy. Brett explains how hiring international talent to staff your business does just that.  Because all virtual assistants at Get Staffed Up work remotely from countries like Argentina and South Africa (during your local business hours, of course), people and businesses can function globally without moving abroad.

Bill, together with his co-host, Jeff, discussed some of the challenges they have had to overcome with their independent remote employees. Some of these challenges were related to miscommunication, incomplete tasks, and different time zones. Challenges that do not need to exist when you hire the right person and take time to train repeatable tasks. Bill and Jeff were very excited to hear all the success stories from Get Staffed Up’s virtual assistants, and asked what Get Staffed Up is doing differently than their competitors. Brett explained that the reason why they have a 95% retention rate is due to the high quality of staffers. The hiring process and infrastructure are unparalleled. Only the top 0.01% of applicants are selected to work for clients.

How much is your time worth?

As Brett mentions on the Podcast, “If you don’t respect your time compared to your money, do it yourself”. If you think about your time as money, you’ll quickly see how having a Virtual Assistant (VA) helps maximize your revenue. A VA can take over administrative tasks relating to human resources, taxes, client happiness, and more. That means instead of you doing that, you can be looking for new clients or billing hours to current ones.
