This position and its responsibilities may be filled by either a single contractor or multiple people within a single Consulting Firm.

The primary function of the Software Business Analyst (Business Analyst) is to drive software requirements from high-level business requirements to actionable detailed software product specifications. In this case, multiple software tools are anticipated to be needed for the Get Staffed Up and JobDuck organizations to migrate from their current Zoho-based (and other) systems to new software products that will better support the growth of the global business.

The Business Analyst will define requirements for new software products by facilitating the exchange of information around requirements between all stakeholders. Also, the Business Analyst will prepare and manage the Request For Proposal (RFP) process for each software product sought by Get Staffed Up’s steering committee.



📌 Project Leadership and Impact: With the Project Manager, lead a multi-function project team through rapid, data-driven iterations focused on outcomes. Drive impact through all engagements with team members and extended team members – through deliveries and effectiveness. Regularly report and present to leadership on progress and outcomes, provide recommendations and drive discussions.

📌 Writes and maintains the functional specifications for each department, using input primarily from management, department Directors, and their teams.

📌 The creation of the functional specifications includes the functional definitions of the system complete with workflows; impacts on existing applications/changes; navigation, and definition. Examples include, but are not limited to the value stream, processing mapping, and user journeys.

📌 Works on multiple specifications with complex features.

📌 Follows standard product selection process to make the best use of limited resources (time, money, people) resulting in a stable, maintainable product that meets user requirements.

📌 Accomplishes all of the above in accordance with standard procedures.

📌 Develops and manages the RFP process for each department identified in the Project Scope (See separate document).

📌 Demonstrated ability to create and maintain large sets of documentation and proficiency in the following: Trello experience preferred and Google Docs experience preferred.

📌 Self-starter/motivator.



📌 Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree recommended
📌 Experience leading a project with accountability for writing and gathering requirements; a sample work product will be required
📌 Experience writing and managing the vendor RFP process
📌 Software selection experience required, preferred in a multi-product/solution environment
📌 Recruitment/Staffing knowledge a plus
📌 Working with a global and virtual team experience a plus
📌 Experience selecting ERP systems a plus
📌 Experience with the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS/Traction) a plus
