Bubbles and Biz Podcast featuring Get Staffed Up's CEO and Co-Founder, Brett Trembly.

On July 6th, 2021, Brett Trembly, attorney, best-selling author, and co-founder of Get Staffed Up, was featured on the Bubbles and Biz Podcast. Hosted by Nicole Bernard, founder of nb.marketing. Nicole provides marketing services, coaching, and courses for busy business owners. Especially those who do not have the time or team to execute effective marketing strategies. In her podcast, you will get inspiration from other business owners. As well as, tips on balancing work and life, favorite apps, and more.

In this episode, Nicole and Brett discuss the number one tip for a successful working relationship with a virtual assistant (VA). Nicole starts by asking Brett how he responds to people who are still struggling to delegate their way to freedom. His response: “challenge and change their mindset”. Up to this point, you have been the “doer”, and now you are in a new situation where you have to change your mindset from “doer” to “leader”. Brett re-affirms that delegation is about teamwork and end results. It is an ongoing foundational approach to the growth journey of your firm.

Put the time to onboard

There is a big misconception that overseas employees are not as good as local employees. Brett guarantees that through Get Staffed Up, you are able to hire the top global talent at a third of the local price. However, one as an employer must put in the time and effort to onboard the new staff members. Time to train them on their tasks and to follow up periodically.

As an entrepreneur herself, Nicole wanted to know the number one tip to build a successful working relationship with a VA. Although it may come as a surprise to many, the most important thing is to nurture the relationship. To create time for feedback and conversations, and to treat the VA as any other employee.

Nicole and Brett also discussed some influential books and the importance of having a proactive morning routine. Lastly, to end on an exciting note, they shared some of their leisure activities and favorite places to visit.
